Subscription plans
Recipe Kit has a Free plan and three paid plans: Essentials, Growth and Enterprise. This page covers what is in each one.
For current prices and trial terms, see the Recipe Kit listing on the Shopify App Store. Shopify's plan page shows the same, live, whenever you choose or change a plan.

- Add to Cart and Add All to Cart on recipe ingredients
- Revenue analytics: revenue, conversion rates, where shoppers came from, views by country, and your full history. Revenue tracking starts once you click Turn on sales tracking on the Analytics page.
- AI recipe drafting, as many drafts as you like
- Direction step photos
- QR codes for your recipe blog and for each recipe, to print on packaging and labels
- Share images that turn a recipe into a post sized for Instagram, Pinterest, TikTok or X

"At a time" means imported recipes you have now. Deleting an imported recipe frees its slot.

The Add to Cart labels under Translations & Labels need the Growth plan, since Add to Cart does.
Choosing a plan
Free if you are trying Recipe Kit out, or you have five recipes or fewer.
Essentials if you have more than five recipes, or want to load recipes from a spreadsheet with CSV import.
Growth if you sell the ingredients. Add to Cart and revenue analytics are the reason for this plan.
Enterprise if you need the API for a headless storefront, or want priority support.
Changing plans
You change plan on Shopify's plan page, which shows when the change takes effect and what you will be charged. See Managing your subscription for the steps, and The Free plan for what happens if you drop to Free with more than 5 recipes.
When you move to a plan without a feature, Recipe Kit keeps what you already made with it:
- Recipe FAQs stay on your recipes and keep publishing their structured data. You just cannot add or edit them.
- QR codes you already printed keep working.
Older plans
If your store subscribed before Growth existed, Shopify may show your plan under an older name. Your plan carries on with what it always included. QR codes, share images, automatic translations and editing recipe FAQs were added with Growth, so older plans may not have them. If a feature shows a lock icon in Recipe Kit, your plan does not include it, and you can switch to Growth on Shopify's plan page.
Billing
Recipe Kit bills through Shopify, so charges appear on your regular Shopify bill. See Managing your subscription.
