Subscription Plans
Recipe Kit has a free plan and three paid plans. This page covers what is in each one.
For current pricing, see the Recipe Kit listing on the Shopify App Store. Prices and trial terms are also shown on the plan picker inside Shopify when you choose or change a plan, which is always the live version.

Choosing a plan
Free if you are trying Recipe Kit out, or you have ten recipes or fewer and do not need analytics.
Essentials if you have more than ten recipes and want to know which ones people actually read.
Advanced if you sell the ingredients. Add to Cart and revenue analytics are the whole point of this tier, and it is the one most stores selling food products end up on.
Enterprise if you need the API for a headless storefront, or you want priority support and help with custom design work.
Changing plans
Upgrades take effect immediately. Downgrades take effect at your next billing cycle, and you keep the higher tier's features until then.

What happens if you downgrade below your recipe count
Dropping to Free with more than ten recipes does not delete anything. Your recipes stay exactly where they are. You cannot create new ones until you are back under the cap or back on a paid plan.
Billing
Recipe Kit bills through Shopify. Charges appear on your regular Shopify invoice alongside your other apps, and invoices live in Shopify Admin > Settings > Billing.
