Equipment Best Practices

Be Specific

Instead of "pan," specify:

  • "12-inch oven-safe skillet"
  • "9x13 inch baking dish"
  • "Large stockpot (8 quart)"

Include Optional Tools

Note helpful but not essential items:

  • "Stand mixer (or hand mixer)"
  • "Instant-read thermometer (recommended)"

Consider Your Audience

If selling kitchen products, equipment lists can drive sales:

  • Link equipment to products in your store
  • Highlight how your products help make the recipe

Linking Equipment to Products

If you sell kitchen equipment:

  1. Add equipment to the recipe
  2. Link to corresponding products
  3. Customers can purchase recommended tools

This creates additional sales opportunities from recipe content.
