Equipment Best Practices
Be Specific
Instead of "pan," specify:
- "12-inch oven-safe skillet"
- "9x13 inch baking dish"
- "Large stockpot (8 quart)"
Include Optional Tools
Note helpful but not essential items:
- "Stand mixer (or hand mixer)"
- "Instant-read thermometer (recommended)"
Consider Your Audience
If selling kitchen products, equipment lists can drive sales:
- Link equipment to products in your store
- Highlight how your products help make the recipe
Linking Equipment to Products
If you sell kitchen equipment:
- Add equipment to the recipe
- Link to corresponding products
- Customers can purchase recommended tools
This creates additional sales opportunities from recipe content.
