How Product Linking Works

When you link a product to a recipe ingredient:

• An "Add to Cart" button appears next to that ingredient
• Customers can add the product directly from the recipe card
• The product is added to their Shopify cart

Note: Recipes display on blog posts, not product pages. Product linking enables the Add to Cart shopping feature within recipe cards.

Linking Ingredients to Products

Connect individual ingredients to products for Add to Cart:

1. Open your recipe in Recipe Kit
2. In the Ingredients section
3. Click the product icon next to an ingredient
4. Search for the matching product
5. Select it
6. Repeat for other ingredients
7. Save the recipe

These ingredients now show Add to Cart buttons on the recipe card.

A recipe can link to multiple products:

• Link different ingredients to different products
• Each linked ingredient shows its own Add to Cart button

One Product, Multiple Recipes

A product can be linked from multiple recipes:

• Great for versatile ingredients like olive oil or flour
• Same product can appear in many recipe cards

Automatic Product Matching

Recipe Kit can suggest product matches:

1. When adding ingredients
2. AI analyzes ingredient names
3. Suggests matching products from your store
4. Review and confirm suggestions

This speeds up product linking for stores with many products.

Add All to Cart

Enable customers to add all linked ingredients at once:

1. Go to Settings
2. Enable Add All to Cart
3. Save

A single button adds all linked products to the cart with one click.

Viewing Linked Products

In any recipe, check the Ingredients section to see:

• Which ingredients are linked to products
• The linked product for each ingredient
• Option to change or remove links

1. Open the recipe
2. Find the ingredient
3. Click the product icon
4. Remove the link
5. Save
