Text looks weird / has odd formatting

If you've pasted your recipe text in from another website, app, or software (for example, MS Word), you may find that your pasted text ends up with some weird formatting in it.

Common issues are:

• Extra blank lines
• Coloured text
• Added padding / blank areas
• Random characters / code

To fix this, what you can do is re-copy the text (then delete it from the field you copied it from), and then paste the text back into the input using the keyboard shortcut: CTRL + SHIFT + V.

This keyboard shortcut should remove all the excess formatting and empty lines.
