Recipe Draft / Hidden Status
At the moment there isn't a 'draft' status for the recipe cards - allowing you to create, but not publish the recipe onto your Shopify store. This is a feature I am working on releasing soon; but in the meantime what you can do is set the blog posts in Shopify to "hidden" or "draft" status.
The process for this would look like this:
- Create recipe / blog post in Recipe Kit
- Click into recipe from Recipe Kit dashboard
- Click the "Edit Blog Post" button at top of the page
- Change blog post visibility to hidden from the Shopify Admin page.
Using this method, you can take advantage of Shopify's 'advanced publishing tools', like
setting a specific publish data for the blog post / recipe.
