Sell the ingredients from your recipes
Link your BigCommerce products to recipe ingredients. Shoppers can then add them to their cart from the recipe card.
Link a product to an ingredient
- Open a recipe in Recipe Kit.
- In the ingredient table, choose the bag icon on the ingredient's row.
- Search your products. The search starts with the ingredient's name.
- Choose Link. The product shows under the ingredient.
To unlink a product, choose the × on it. Recipe Kit saves as you go.
What shoppers see
- The product photo next to the ingredient, with an Add to cart button.
- A size or option choice, with prices, when the product has options.
- Add all to cart, which adds every linked product at once.
- View cart and Checkout buttons after they add something.
Prices and stock come from your BigCommerce catalog, so they stay current. A product that is hidden or can't be bought doesn't show on the card.
On product pages
A recipe that uses a product can also show on that product's page, below the product details. It appears once the product is linked to an ingredient.
