Changing the Default Recipe Heading type

By default, the recipe title on each recipe card uses an <h2> heading tag. You can override this default to <h1> to better match your layout or content style. If you require a different heading level – such as <h3> , or <h4> – to better align with your layout, visual hierarchy, or accessibility strategy, those adjustments are fully supported and you can reach out to us for making those changes for your store.

Steps to Update the Heading Type

1. Open Recipe Kit Settings in the app.
2. Navigate to Advanced Settings.
3. Locate the Default Recipe Heading Type option.
4. Select your desired heading type.
5. Click Save to apply your changes.

Once saved, the selected heading level will be displayed on all recipe cards where the default title appears.
