How to Change the Order of Recipes in Shopify

This article explains how to reorder your recipes in Shopify by adjusting the publication dates of the associated blog posts, allowing for better organization and visibility of your content.

Steps to Change Recipe Order

1. Log in to your Shopify Admin.
2. Go to the Online Store section and select Blog Posts.
3. Locate the blog post that corresponds to the recipe you want to reorder.
4. Click on the blog post to edit it.
5. In the blog post settings, find the Publish date section.
6. Adjust the publish date to change its order relative to other posts. Recipes with earlier publish dates will appear first.
7. Save your changes.

Using Hidden or Draft Status

If you want to keep certain recipes from being visible while adjusting their order, consider changing their visibility to Hidden or Draft status:

1. Create the recipe or blog post in the Recipe Kit.
2. Click into the recipe from the Recipe Kit dashboard.
3. Click the Edit Blog Post button at the top of the page.
4. Change the blog post visibility to Hidden or Draft from the Shopify Admin page.

This method allows you to utilize Shopify's advanced publishing tools, such as setting a specific publish date for each recipe.
